Commissioning a piece of work can sometimes understandably feel a bit daunting. It can feel risky to commit to something that you haven’t yet seen, so I make it as easy and low risk as possible. My aim is that we end up with a piece that you love, and equally importantly, I love too. A piece is only good enough if we ALL love it – so with that in mind, I have developed the following easy and risk free commission policy and process:

1. We start with an initial chat to discuss your requirements, whenever possible with a view of the proposed location for the piece. 
2. If, following our consultation, I feel I can create something you’ll really love, I will accept the commission, giving you a price and proposed timescale in writing. *
3. Within the timescale agreed, I will create two or three pieces that I love and am happy to put out into the world.
4. You decide which one if any that you would like at the agreed price.
5. If you decide that the result is not quite what you were looking for, there is no further commitment, I add the paintings to my available collection, and you lose nothing. 

           All in all, its a win/win process

If a commission is accepted outside my usual parameters in concept, scale or materials, or contains very specific and personal elements, a 15% non returnable deposit will be required.
